What I have given in this blog is the thought process of 10 years in learning about software and failing as well. The problem is we don't learn the important stuffs. Never stop writing and you will be the best one out there.

Spreadsheets and word processors would stay forever. Focus on the things that last long, focus on the technologies that you would use each day. Write 1000 words each and program one excel VBA each day. You can also have a MONDAY VBA day or TUESDAY writer day.

Move on to code for mobile phones and websites -  Take the baby steps, it may seem difficult but you can code better.

You are the best marketer when you start with digital marketing and post content like Gary Vee. Content creators would be highly rewarded in the future for their valuable content like Vlog or Youtube videos. Learn about digital marketing because it stays as long as the internet works. You can make huge difference in sales for an e-commerce company.

JAVA and LIZARD BRAIN Ver2.0 | this is not an Ultimate guide

Coding is a big headache and you still dream about becoming the best coder out there, please read further. Coding is a language that only few people understand, you need to make the machine understand the problem and solve it which makes you the best coder among your friends or in the company that you spend 10 hrs daily. When I started to learn about coding, I heard this " Eat java, sleep java and Pray Java" And many of us missed the train , wasting the time and money to learn coding but never succeeded.

Every coder faces that obstacle in the early stage of coding ( within 6 months of learning to code) you will be able to understand but not able to crack the interview process. It may seem difficult to work on different technology when your interest is in other coding language. Most coders have this lizard brain and all of us actually have this Lizard thinking at different stages of life. what seems to be difficult would become easy as time goes on. You wanted to drink the ocean with your knowledge cup and get the money in the bank, which is not possible in the first few years of coding.

The problem with coding is that you fail because you don't go with the step by step process. I missed the train because of jumping the process and skipping the basics. I don't know the basics of Java but wanted to code in android which doesn't work. After graduation , we must not rush into learning too stuffs too fast. If you ask opinion from 100 people who learnt JAVA, each one has their opinion because it worked for them. They won't suggest something that works for you, because you have to figure out and only YOU!

Another mistake coders make is copying other people's code. you can't create something from scratch that's okay. Use Github  or stackoverflow but do understand the meaning of  each line, don't just copy. some lines of code would be interesting and you can replicate in other projects as well, that's totally fine but when you copy and do when you don;t want to do or due to time constraint then you fail like I did.

software technologies are money driven and the first search before writing this article was " How much is a digital marketer paid in California?"  We want to switch technologies for a higher pay and that shouldn't be the goal. It takes a lot of time to climb up the ladder and if you don't understand the complete process or if you don't make the things look easier to you then you are ready to quit and start over from scratch.

Find the motivation to code, find the need to code and stop coding when you don't want to !

Learn Blockchain - seriously don't skip this

don't misjudge the blockchain !

Blockchain would stay forever and I don't get more enthusiastic in Machine learning or VR & AR because the things keep changing over time. Blockchain is the start for emerging technologies and it;s the basics. When you say Blockchain, most people would think of Bitcoin and Ethereum only! Most people would go into dreamy state overthinking that they bought 1000 bitcoins for 10 cents and luxury cars.

If you look at coinmarketcap, there are 1000+ crypto currencies where each day , a new coin is created. I can also create a coin called "udemytechie"and you can also buy it from an exchange. But they all transact with Bitcoin and Ethereum. You are now a bank for you and your friends, you don;t need a third party. You are saving time from reaching the nearest bank and as well your payment is sent within minutes to the concerned party for the exchange of goods or service. How easy is that?

But there are other things also that you do with Blockchain

1. Voting ( blockchain voting )

2.  Storing Medical history

1, learn about bitcoin , learn to send and receive bitcoins - Blockchain and Bitcoin Fundamentals

One secret tip for you- because I am into investing as well. The best tip is to keep your funds in either Ethereum and Bitcoin because you have the chance of the higher prices. All the other cryptos are jackpots and not consistent.   All the cryptos are either clones of bitcoin or Ethereum, if you find some token that is unique then it's time to invest in them as well. There is a huge demand for this skill. Because the craziness for people to upload videos on the internet and get paid a certain amount of money through ads. Everyone is eager for the Google's next big thing. First it was Google adsense and then youtube ads, we all love money don;t we?? Youtube was a fantastic idea and people love Tik-tok as well.  We can't predict the next biggest social media platform but keep creating content each day.

I believe the animations and intro for the youtube videos would become the biggest thing. The second thing is people don't have time to edit videos. This may sound like backend Job or a job of lower grade but you will become a content creator or Youtuber or Tiktoker in a few years which you can't ignore. The skills you learn now would be the helping to get save your money and time.

There are few businesses related to Tech that you can start from your home. Digital marketers are freelancers mostly. They don't have a work place and they keep thinking about how to dominate the Google search engine. I heard about this term back in 2013, I heard a friend of mine getting 1000 dollars per month and I thought like there is no coding involved, this could be the easiest thing to get a job or start my own Digital marketing agency.

But the reality is there are numerous topics that you have learn. Get  A wordpress site !

Early days of Google had few people online and there wasn't much info like we have nowadays. With google maps, your location can be found easily. Location of hotels, hospitals and whatever detail you want, you just type in the google search box. The results which were searched more, showed up in the first page and the less interesting in the next pages. so what happens is that, business listing in the first page got more clicks and got more businesses than 3 page listing.

Digital marketers tried to use the white hat, black hat, grey hat and whatever techniques that they had to put their clients website on the first page. They charged their clients with the page rank , page authority and domain authority. Higher the rank, higher the cost would be. People started to use Fiverr, freelancer, seoclerk and all freelancer websites to find digital marketers. They became the talk of the town but not for long. Organic search saw a drop because people got into Youtube videos , which kept playing for hours. So they made the Inorganic ads, in early days it was tough for a layman to understand the SEO terms.

But after 10 years , these terms are spoken on the streets. Even the doctors knew this and they wanted their clinic website on the first page. The beauty is that you can be a freelance digital marketers and there are plenty of clients around the world. Most of these companies have in-house SEO expert but if they don't have, you got an opportunity. Here are some of the basics that I learnt

3. Create viral content ( do the idea validation, don't ask me how it would get Viral!)

This topic was really challenging for me and I had to google , youtube and wiki. I had to drink 3 cups of coffee. It's very tough because there are so much new technologies out there and people are confused.

Don't forget this - no matter how new the technology is , learn the basics and don't forget your best friends - the one which got you a job as a software developer.  Because there would be so much research and development happening in the technology space for another 10-20 years. We can't predict the future, there would be collaboration of technology ( I mean the usage of technology) with the medicine field, auto sector and with the space technologies etc.,

When the jobs become out-dated, software programmers would be niche specific. Just like medical related technology sector or something like android auto, he or she would say I work for a company specialised only with Automobiles. It's not desktop anymore and that era is over but the mobile phone apps would live for some years until VR and AR takes over them. Whatever the future of technology would be , just keep saying yourself I am learning and I will code. Just look at the path of Javascript, we got plenty of tools now.
